Assessments

ADHD Diagnostic Assessment

Comprehensive ADHD diagnostic assessments are available for adolescents (13+) and adults via secure telehealth.

The assessment involves three 50-minute telehealth sessions and a written diagnostic report. Online questionnaires are completed prior to the first session. Where possible, a collateral informant — such as a parent, partner, or sibling — is invited to join a portion of the final session.

The total fee is $1,370, comprising three sessions at $240 each and a comprehensive written report at $650.

Medicare rebates of $98.95 per session are available with a valid Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) referral from your GP, reducing the total out-of-pocket cost to approximately $1,073. Medicare does not cover the written report fee.

For full details about what the assessment involves, please see the FAQ page.

ASD Diagnostic Assessment

Comprehensive autism spectrum disorder (ASD) diagnostic assessments are available for adolescents (13+) and adults via secure telehealth. Assessments are conducted in accordance with the National Guideline for the Assessment and Diagnosis of Autism in Australia (2023).

The assessment involves several structured clinical interview sessions, online questionnaires completed before your first appointment, and a collateral interview with someone who knows you well. The number of sessions varies depending on individual need and is discussed with you before commencing. A dedicated feedback session to discuss the findings and next steps is included as a standard component of ASD assessment.

Following your sessions, a comprehensive written diagnostic report is prepared, typically within 2–3 weeks.

Fees vary depending on the scope and complexity of the assessment required. Please enquire directly for a fee estimate. Medicare rebates of $98.95 per session are available with a valid Mental Health Care Plan referral from your GP. Medicare does not cover the written report fee.

For full details about what the assessment involves, please see the FAQ page.
