How I work
-
My approach is collaborative, client-centred and strengths-oriented, grounded in current research evidence. I draw on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)-informed approaches, tailored to each person’s needs and goals.
I have a particular interest in working with:
-
adolescents and adults with suspected or diagnosed ADHD or autism, including late diagnosis
-
people living with chronic pain or chronic health conditions, such as POTS/dysautonomia, EDS/hEDS, migraine, epilepsy, gastrointestinal and immune-inflammatory conditions
-
parents and carers experiencing burnout or compassion fatigue, including those caring for neurodivergent children
-
people experiencing anxiety or low mood, or navigating life transitions and changes in identity
Â
Diagnostic assessment
-
My ADHD and autism assessments follow current Australian best-practice guidelines. They combine clinical interview, standardised measures and collateral information.Â
Â
Outside the therapy room
-
Outside my professional work, I enjoy spending time with my two kelpies, visiting the beach, and camping whenever I can.
